I got the lamb platter. The lamb was cooked perfectly and very tender. But I guess the Lebanese version has a lot of specific spices which isn't my favorite way of eating lamb kabobs. I prefer very little spice and plenty of char flavor. So for me it was just a preference thing. But the lamb was good. Yellow rice was good and the platter came with a nice fresh, crisp salad. I was so hungry I ordered a side of the cubed fried potatoes with garlic, cilantro, and red pepper to eat on my way home. It as tasty, but instead of being freshly fried it had already been cooked and then warmed in the microwave. I try to avoid microwaved foods for several reasons. And fried potatoes lose all the crispy benefits you get from frying. The people there were very nice, friendly, helpful and accommodating. The kitchen looked pretty clean...And I looked because some suspicious reviewers had mentioned the lack of cleanliness. There were a few spots in the dining room that could use some extra attention. But it was near the front door area that needed some scrubbing..or maybe it was the bottom of the door...can't remember. But nothing serious at all.

The food was incredible and very fairly priced! The owner was so sweet and when we were leaving he handed us a baklava to take home free of charge! 100% recommend this place!

#1 Lebanese Made Food in Tampa Bay area! The best Beef Shawarma Sandwich by far. Ate and felt I was in the heart of Beirut! Appreciate you and your little Establishment. A must eat here.

After leaving NYC it seems like finding fresh falafel is nearly impossible. I stopped in after going to my dentist and I certainly was not disappointed! The falafel is extremely fresh and the pita sandwich was so delicious! Now I have something to look forward to after the dentist!

How did I not find out about this place sooner?!?! This is truly a hidden gem in Lutz. The food tastes amazing and the portion you get for what you pay is a crazy good deal! I've told everyone in my office about La Pita and we will definitely be back for more!
